Architectural Turnbuckles

Shop architectural turnbuckles for cable railing and other correctly engineered tensioned-wire systems. The current collection includes toggle-to-toggle turnbuckles and a closed-body stud-to-stud swage turnbuckle, providing different ways to connect, tension and align compatible cable assemblies.

Toggle ends provide articulation at compatible mounting points and can help keep the load aligned through the turnbuckle. Swage connections attach directly to correctly sized wire rope using the required equipment and finished-swage specifications. Closed bodies protect the threaded adjustment area, while the available material and end configuration determine where each family can be used.

Before ordering, confirm wire-rope diameter and construction, end connection, pin or mounting dimensions, thread size and direction, take-up range, body style, material and published load information. A typical turnbuckle assembly uses matched right-hand and left-hand threads so body rotation changes tension without twisting the cable. Guardrail geometry, cable tension, attachment strength and code requirements vary by project; verify the complete installed system against the applicable design and engineering requirements.
