Shop stainless steel nuts and bolts for corrosion-resistant marine, architectural and industrial assemblies. The current category includes a 316 stainless steel left-hand UNC rivet-nut insert, a specialty threaded insert that creates a reusable female thread in a compatible prepared hole.

Rivet-nut inserts are installed with the correct setting tool and mandrel so the body collapses and grips the reverse side of the workpiece. Left-hand thread direction is intentionally different from common right-hand hardware and must match the mating fastener. The hole size, grip range, parent material and installation force all affect the finished connection.

Before ordering, confirm the exact diameter, UNC thread, left-hand direction, grip range, body dimensions, hole preparation and stainless grade. Use a compatible installation tool and follow the insert manufacturer’s setting procedure. Stainless threaded parts can gall when assembled dirty, dry or too quickly, so use an appropriate lubricant or anti-seize where the application permits. Do not treat a threaded insert as a lifting point or structural anchor unless the complete installed connection is specifically engineered and rated for that service.
