Wire Rope Accessories

Shop stainless steel wire rope accessories for marine rigging, safety wiring and general cable-assembly work. This category currently includes stainless steel seizing, or locking, wire supplied in several useful diameters for securing compatible fasteners and rigging components.

Seizing wire is flexible wire used to bind, retain or safety compatible hardware where the installation method calls for it. Select the diameter according to the component, hole size, required flexibility and the instructions for the assembly. A thicker wire is not automatically appropriate if it cannot be routed, twisted or seated correctly.

Before ordering, confirm wire diameter, coil quantity, stainless grade and compatibility with the hardware and service environment. Use suitable cutters and installation tools, avoid sharp unfinished ends and inspect the completed safety-wire or seizing arrangement regularly. Seizing wire does not replace a rated fastener, terminal or load-bearing connection unless the exact system instructions specifically require and approve it.
